  2. Nice video. Hope it helps people make the right decision about fracking.

  3. Imformative, heart breaking… Corbett has sold all of us out…..

  4. Horrible!

by Michele Kohar on Jan 3, 2013 at 9:30 am

  5. If you or I poisoned just one person or animal or a a stream or well, we would be prosecuted and jailed. But a company can poison a whole nation and destroy aquifers that took millennia to form, and ruin land and take away the futures of babies as yet unborn. And they can get away with it and sit at the same table as Governors, president and our other representatives.

  6. You are so right, Johnny….

  7. Clearly it not worth all the money in the world to put your family’s and others’ health at risk and that of future generations. Clearly the public servants that we pay to work for us our working for the industry. Sadly, many stories abound like Carols. . .

  8. Very well done and all is true…And it is in our food and milk supply, but we will never find it if we don’t look

    by pbccg1 on Jan 3, 2013 at 11:47 am

  9. bitter that others got 5-8000 dollars an acre. Signed a contract that only a lawyer could understand without getting a lawyer. if it smells like sewage it is sewage. All goverment agencies are in the pockets of oil & gas according to you extreme socialist. I let my daughter drink white water she got sick two weeks later… hmmmmmm. I don’t believe this testimoni because if it were true the media would have reported this on abc, cnn, nbc … just anti propaganda

by landrefugee on Jan 3, 2013 at 1:03 pm

  10. There’s nothing bitter when it comes to the difference between money and the health of people you love. You can go on thinking that, but it’s not true.

by Debbie Lambert on Jan 3, 2013 at 1:28 pm

  11. You haven’t been paying attention. On occasion, very similar stories do grace the media, but they are also in the same pockets the politicians are. There are also several documentaries documenting similar contamination and are even able to set their own taps on fire. Because burning water is a completely natural phenomena…

But you’re right about the lawyers. People in rural areas are so easy to dupe because they’re unusually trusting. They take people’s word at face value. It’s sad. :(

by jawayetti on Jan 3, 2013 at 1:29 pm

  12. @landrefugee The fact that we have captured agencies in New York as well as Pennsylvania shouldn’t be of any great surprise, regardless of one’s political orientation. This issue cuts across ideological lines. When it gets to defending livelihoods, way of life, communities…that is what is really important. Now as far as the sewage smell, I understand your skepticism. But consider, when they drill through layers on their way down to the target formation, all sorts of things can happen.

by Kim Feil on Jan 3, 2013 at 9:50 pm

  16. Thank you Carol and all who make this video. It is criminal that our government is allowing this to happen to good, hard working TAX PAYING citizens of this country. We will not stop fighting this fight.

by briget s on Jan 4, 2013 at 8:00 pm

  17. shocking behaviour, and the gas companies and the authorities just ignore you. if we did this to someones property we would be arrested. thye are legal criminals NO FRACKING WAY!!!

  20. Great Job. Promised Land alluded to it. This is proof it is more than just a movie. Landman deceipt $25.00 per acre when in Fort Worth Texas leases rose to as high as $25,000.00 per acre in 2008 before the july crash and 25% royalty without charge backs. The average even today if people lease has been $2,500 to $3,500 per acre bonuses. BUT cheating on payment of royalties are rampant and people are lucky to get about $100.00 per year in royalties…

by Gary Hogan on Jan 7, 2013 at 1:52 am

  21. because the operators have shut in most of the wells or produce very little right now because dry gas is not paying much $2.00 to $3.00 per TCF. Texas is also having all the negative impacts. Truck traffic does not go away. white , gray or even red tainted well water has occurred. In cities like Fort Worth we have dense urban pad sites as close as 200 ft from homes, churches and 600 ft from schools. We have about 700 miles of gathering pipelines running through residential property

by Gary Hogan on Jan 7, 2013 at 1:52 am

  22. Fort Worth was foolled into what I call the Beverly Hillbillies syndrome also.
God bless and protect us because one day Fort Worth will be on the news as we blow up a whole neighborhood from these unodorized corrosive gas pipelines. GOD Bless Carol French and all the folks that suffer in PA and all others who are being sacrificed for profit by Big O & G corporations. AND DO NOT BELIEVE in it was for America. It’s all for corporate greed.

by Gary Hogan on Jan 7, 2013 at 1:57 am

  23. sad and heartbreaking– what humans will do to risk their habitat for filthy lucre– thanks, Carol was speaking out and showing the world what is happening to us and what the gas companies won’t show in their slick ads.

by Vera Scroggins on Jan 7, 2013 at 2:35 am

  24. I came to this country in 1966, the land of the free. There is very little justice for the people. I do not know how Carol can stay so calm. The land men crept in as if under the cover of darkness. The nightmare needs to stop world wide. Power to the people, renewables.

  25. The realities of fracking in Pennsylvania

by Gina Strandlien on Jan 18, 2013 at 5:28 pm

  26. PA Gov Toxic Tom Corbett should be charged with causing a state-wide catastrophe and many other federal crimes. WHY isn’t he in prison yet?????????????

by VerySmartandCute on Jan 24, 2013 at 8:17 pm

  27. This is the lady getting money for telling people that all the drillers are illegal immigrants from Mexico. She said in a public meeting that one mexican got sick, but would not go to the hospital or face deportation. She said “he died, and they stuck him down the well hole.” A 4 inch hole that is being drilled, but she claims a human was jammed in the hole????? The video contradicts itself. She is a flake.

by Penn Digger on Mar 21, 2013 at 11:45 am

  28. She wants more royalties, and for fools to pay her to talk. That is all going on there.

by Penn Digger on Mar 21, 2013 at 11:46 am

  29. Of course, you are lying again. The average royalty check in Susquehanna, Bradford, Tioga, and Wayne Counties in Pennsylvania is $300 to $1500 per acre per month. This was two years ago (2011) when the price of gas was lower. One farmer near East Lemon has given away more than $3,000,000. dollars to charities in the area that was earned from royalties on his 100 acre farm.

by Penn Digger on Mar 21, 2013 at 11:51 am

  30. Coal seam gas shale fracking? You’ve come up with a new bogus term. Gas companies cannot explore in coal regions. That is the State Laws. look it up.

Here’s a hint: Coal is coal. Shale is shale. There is NO Connection between them.

by Penn Digger on Mar 21, 2013 at 11:57 am

  31. Please explain what she said as a fact? She claims too many wells surrounding her. The wells are 500 to 800 acres for each unit.

by Penn Digger on Mar 21, 2013 at 11:59 am

  32. Drilling through granite leaves a solid hole the size of the drill bit. This is cased with steel, then mortared in place. Explain what you think happens to the bedrock.

by Penn Digger on Mar 21, 2013 at 12:00 pm

  33. The landman was invited to her house as she said. After months of meetings, she was satisfied that she had a good contract. Are you calling her a liar by claiming the landman crept in the night? How do you make up stories like you just did and exist in this country?

by Penn Digger on Mar 21, 2013 at 12:03 pm

  34. “How do you make up stories like you just did and exist in this country?” …. Last time I checked this was still a free Country where we can all be entitled to our own opinions. That being said, Our potable drinking water supply cannot support this Industry and the lack ‘of compassion’ is making you and this Industry look bad. I will fight until I’m dead or drilling is gone. We are not expendable, we are strong and connected. I will not debate you or your random thoughts, so respond if you must

by motoclown on Mar 23, 2013 at 11:58 am

  35. So a free country lets you LIE? Try that lie again. So you ARE calling her a liar. You are lying on purpose and you still think you are justified to lie. Your pathetic response proves that you are meaningless to the conversation. Keep lying about your potable water supply. You don’t even know what that means. Keep fighting, you’re fun to watch. But prove that any water supply has been effected anywhere in this country before you promote your new lies.

by Penn Digger on Mar 24, 2013 at 10:48 am

  36. Almost ALL the drilling as been done under RENDEL. Please explain how Corbet is resonsible for Rendel’s work. The lady is lying in the video, or creating the lie for you to believe. And you want to find a Republican to blame, making you a liar as well. Birds of your feather, all lie together.

by Penn Digger on Mar 24, 2013 at 10:53 am

  37. I’ll give you a thumbs up for not being able to spell. You have no clue whatis going on..Go read Agenda 21 or watch a video on it, since you can’t spell I assume you can’t read…

    by patty1752 on Mar 24, 2013 at 3:02 pm

  38. Corbett sold Pa. out… And as for you Mr. Penn Driller…You are not worth answering …Your just a Shill looking for attention…. Did you ever stop and think you may be making your own family ill? Bringing the chemicals home on your clothes ,your skin, transferring it to your kids.

    by patty1752 on Mar 25, 2013 at 8:27 am

  39. PENN Shithead! corbett got elected by the gas drillers money yes everyone knows that rendell opened the door, but corbett could have stopped them however, he only got elected from the gas drillers who bought the election and the “commonwealth” Corbett is a scumbag liar and thief He has BLOOD ON HIS HANDS AND SINCE YOUR PRO DRILLING YOU TOO FALL UNDER THAT ALSO, YOU ARE THE SAME AND AS WELL APATHOLOGICAL LIAR!!! I HOPE YOU GET THE SAME CANCER THAT ALL THE PRO DRILLERS ARE PUSHING ON US!!!!
