Those with slower connections at home may prefer to download Shaleshock Media videos and watch later rather than attempt to watch a video stream that keeps stopping. Downloading to a thumb drive from another location with a fast connection is a solution for some with dial-up. We provide audio podcasts as well.
You can subscribe to the feeds with various Media RSS feed readers. We recommend Miro (formerly Democracy Player) for subscribing to our feeds. It is easy to use –its like TiVo for you computer– and it manages your downloads so you don’t have to worry about your hard drive filling up.
If you prefer using a web browser for a feed reader –a perfectly fine option– we recommend Firefox.
There different feeds are offered:
Standard Definition Video:

High Definition Video:
http://shaleshockmedia.org/feed/podcast/?format=hd-video
and Audio:
http://shaleshockmedia.org/feed/podcast/?format=mp3-audio
Also, we do try to add links to download to the posts themselves, and you will find links to most shaleshaleshock media content on our blip RSS page http://blip.tv/shaleshock-media/rss/.. Not all producers post to blip, and thus podcasts may not be easily available. There are work-arounds, however, such as keepvid.com and add-ons for Firefox web browser.
