DVDs may be available from individual producers and from organizations.  Please check the DVD Offerings forum to see what DVDs producers and groups may have to offer. Some, but not all, available DVDs are listed in the table at the bottom of this page.

Some DVD titles are archived on this site as iso disk images. Popular disk burning applications such as Toast (Mac) and Nero (PC) can burn playable DVDs from a disk image. See the manual for your application for instructions. You might also find open source burner application as a low cost alternative to commercial software. Some of the DVD images archived contain extra DVD-ROM content as well as the DVD video. The archive is located at http://shaleshockmedia.org/DVD/.

Virtually all producers are shooting 16:9, whether standard definition or high definition. All current t.v. sets are widescreen, but we are stuck with legacy 4:3 tube sets and public access channels that only accept 4:3 videos. To accommodate this, we are making an effort to provide letterboxed 4:3 DVD for those that need them.
